Kano Governor Abba Yusuf officially rejoins APC

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has formally returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC), ending months of political uncertainty surrounding his party affiliation.

The governor’s return to the ruling party was confirmed today in a statement from his office, marking a significant political shift in one of Nigeria’s most influential northern states. Governor Yusuf had previously contested and won the Kano governorship election on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) after leaving the APC.
