ASUU Strike: Bauchi universities’ female students threaten to protest half-naked

Over 500 female students from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and Bauchi State University, Gadau have threatened to protest naked, if federal government and ASUU did not settle their differences and call off strike.
In a mock demonstration in their hostel in Bauchi, they came out half naked to show that they are really serious, however, stating that they will not take the law into their hands.
They said the recent action by ASUU to go for another 3 months strike will make it difficult for some of them to graduate.
They said the federal government has lots of resources at its disposal to settle some of the demands by the ASUU members, as such, they should quickly come to the negotiating table to meet some of the demands of ASUU else universities will keep producing half-baked graduates.
“We and our colleagues from Bauchi State University, Gadau will definitely protest half naked as the case may be to compel federal government to negotiate with ASUU and call off the strike”. They added.
