Bandits attack Police Station in Enugu, kill 2 policemen, others injured

Bandits, in the early hours of Wednesday, attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters, Adani in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Two of the police officers on duty were reportedly killed and several others injured while the police station was burnt down.

According to credible sources, the attack on the police station started at about 2:30 am and lasted about one hour.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Enugu State Command, Mr Daniel Ndukwe, said that the details of the incident were still sketchy and promised to get back.
