Bauchi governor rubbishes western education, encourages driving, tailoring (Video)

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammed, made a speech in a video that circulated on social media, emphasizing the benefits of skills over Western education.

The video, which lasted less than 2 minutes, featured the governor saying, “Adjust yourself, stop talking drugs that will damage your brain.” He further stated, “You don’t need to go to school to acquire Western education, like me, Bala. I didn’t go to school, but see where I am.”

The governor added, “Change your attitude. All this Western education is useless. But having Islamic education, being wise, learning a trade like farming or business – that’s the education.”
