Benzema’s hat trick at Camp Nou smashes Puskás 60-year-old record

Karim Benzema’s 50th, 58th and 80th minutes goals against Barcelona Wednesday night broke Ferenc Puskás 1963 record as the first Real Madrid player to score a hat trick at Camp Nou.

Real Madrid won the match 4-1 on aggregate to knock out Barça out of the Copa del Rey competition.

Barcelona failed to score after coming from a 1-0 aggregate giving Madrid the luxury of four goals.

Brazil international, Vinicius Jr. opened the score line at added time in the first half to level the game 1-1 on aggregate before the break.
