Nigeria Army Troops of Sector 1, Operation Lafiya Dole on Wednesday has killed 9 members of Boko Haram terrorists in kaga local government area of Borno state
This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to Newsmen in Maiduguri by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, col Sagir Musa on Wednesday night.
He said the Troops of Sector 1 Operation Lafiya Dole successfully staged an ambush at identified Boko Haram terrorists crossing point at Mainok-Jakana axis in kaga local government area of Borno State at about 1830 hours on the 13th of May 2020.
“So far, 9 Boko Haram Terrorists lost their lives, two gun trucks mounted with anti-aircraft guns have been captured and exploitation is on-going by the troops. Two soldiers are slightly wounded.
The Acting Director Army Public Relations, col Sagir Musa further said that the Situation in the area has been normalized.
