BoldBrick, YCIH deepen strategic partnership as preparation begins for  unreal mansion development in Abuja

BoldBrick Constructions & Works Ltd has announced a deepening of its strategic partnership with YCIH, a Chinese state-owned construction company, as both firms intensify preparations to commence on-site development of a landmark housing project in Abuja.

The partnership traces its origins to last year, when YCIH entered Nigeria at the invitation of BoldBrick, following a series of technical engagements aimed at leveraging Chinese infrastructure expertise for high-end residential development in Nigeria. Since then, YCIH has completed full registration and regulatory compliance in Nigeria and is now fully operational in the country.

Building on this foundation, both companies have executed a formal cooperation agreement mandating an exclusive working relationship in Nigeria. Under the agreement, BoldBrick and YCIH are to collaborate solely with each other on Nigerian projects, combining BoldBrick’s deep understanding of the local market with YCIH’s technical capacity, engineering systems, and delivery experience.

At a recent high-level meeting between both teams, the companies ramped up preparations for mobilisation to site, with construction expected to commence by the end of February or early March. The flagship project under the partnership is Unreal Mansion, a modern, futuristic estate in Karsana, Abuja, where the joint team plans to deliver 560 high-end, fully smart-home-optimised residential units.

Unreal Mansion is designed as a premium residential community that integrates advanced smart-home technology, modern urban planning, and sustainable infrastructure, reflecting the partners’ shared vision of redefining luxury housing in Nigeria.

Speaking after the meeting, 1. Gimba, Suleiman Hassan, Esq (FIFS), Managing Director
2. Muhammad Adamu Kukuri, Personal Assistant to MD/Project Lead, Karsana
3. Aisha Muhammad Gimba Esq, Head of Legal & Compliance
4. Esther Linus Esq, Assistant Legal & Compliance Officer
5. Tawheed Yakub, Head of Corporate Communications
Mr. Yang Weifeng, General Manager; Mr Qin Wei,Deputy General Manager
Mr. Zeng, Design Director; Mr. Huang, Material Manager of both companies reaffirmed their commitment to delivering projects that meet international standards while responding to Nigeria’s evolving urban housing needs. The partnership, they noted, represents a long-term strategic alignment rather than a transactional arrangement.
