The traditional ruler of Olayinka Community in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Salman Olatunji Aweda, has reportedly died while in captivity after weeks of efforts to secure his release failed. The monarch’s death was confirmed on Monday through an emotional voice message released by a member of the community committee that had been coordinating rescue efforts.
