Breaking: Veteran Cockrow at dawn Actor, Kasimu Yero "Uncle Gaga" dies at age 70

Veteran actor Kasimu Yero, Uncle Gaga of Cockcrow at Dawn fame, is dead.
He died in Kaduna, aged 70, his son, Mansur, confirmed on Sunday.
Yero was among the first set of Northerners that started acting professionally.
He started his acting career when he joined the drama club of his secondary school.
After he left secondary school in 1966, he went on to Rumfa College in Kano and from there to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
With the help of his friend, Baba-Ahmed, he began to write scripts. and ever since I have been writing my scripts, up till today, as with almost all the productions I’m involved with.
He was known for writing his own scripts in almost all the productions he was involved in.
