Buhari commissions Police operational vehicles in FHQ

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, stormed Force Headquarters, Abuja, led official launch/commissioning of Police operational vehicles, NPF Crime and Incident Database Centre, and National Joint Command and Control Centre.

The commissioning was earlier scheduled to hold last week Friday but was postponed at the last minute.

The Minister of Police Affairs, Minister of the FCT, Minister of Information, Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), the Governor of Kogi state, as well as other top government officials were on hand to receive the president, who arrived the FHQ at about 11:05 am.

Blueprint reports that vehicles commissioned included mass surveillance vehicles for real-time electronic patrolling of high ways and key government facilities and water cannon trucks.
