JAMB directs candidates to report centres charging above approved N8,700 UTME registration fee The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has urged candidates registering for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to report any accredited centre charging more than the approved ₦8,700 fee. The examination body said the official cost of UTME registration remains ₦8,700, warning that no Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre is permitted to demand additional or hidden charges from candidates.
