Coronavirus: King Udoh, Italian-Nigerian footballer, tests positive

King Paul Akpan Udoh, the Italian-Nigerian player, has reportedly become the first footballer to be infected with the coronavirus.

King Paul currently plies his trade with Pianese, an Italian Serie C side. READ ALSO: Ogun govt quarantines Larfarge Africa Plc, cement factory in Ewekoro over coronavirus

The Pianese forward was diagnosed with the disease on 27 February 2020, and he has been quarantined.

Italy has been mostly hit in Europe by the deadly virus with countries now placing a travel ban on the country.
