An Injiwaji Magistrates Court sitting in Damaturu yesterday remanded a 55-year old journalist, Uche Uche at the Potiskum Correctional Centre for allegedly raping his neighbour’s 5-year old daughter who resides in the same compound with the suspect.
The journalist who lives at Oro 3 area of Damaturu, the State Capital is the Yobe State correspondent of Peoples’ Daily Newspaper was said to have allegedly lured the 5-year old girl to his room where he allegedly molested her sexually.
