COVID-19: Wamakko donates sanitary items, foodstuffs to residents in Sokoto

Senator Aliyu Wamakko has commenced the distribution of hand sanitisers, face masks, hand gloves and bucket water dispensers across the 23 local governments of Sokoto to stem the spread of the dreaded Covid -19.

Wamakko’s Special Assistant on Youths and Students Matters, Suleiman Tijjani said, “280 – bucket water dispensers with sanitol antibacterial are to be distributed across the 23 LGAs.

All these important sanitary items are to be given to mosques and churches in the Sokoto metropolis.

“Some local governments are also being given palliative packages of 250 bags of rice of 50 kg each.”
