Eight PDP councilors pass no confidence vote on LG chairman in Adamawa
Eight out of ten Peoples Democratic Party councilors in Demsa Local Government Council, on Thursday, passed a vote of no confidence on the Chairman, Gibson Pwadadi.
The councilors accused Pwadadi of anti-party activities. They specifically accused him of divisiveness and loyalty to Senator Grace Bent, a former PDP BOT member who defected to the All Progressive Congress.

Speaking on behalf of party stakeholders from the council, Samson Kumbita told reporters in Yola that the decision was sequel to a series of alleged infractions by the chairman.
Kumbita said “Only last month, one of our distinguished stakeholders defected to APC. That is Sen. Grace Bent, who he’s taking as lord in Demsa. He respects her views and honours whatever she says, more than any other thing, to the detriment of even the party itself.
