Emir of Ningi vows to dethrone traditional rulers acting as informants to bandits

In a recent security meeting with traditional rulers from Burra, Ari, and Ningi Districts, Emir Danyaya disclosed an ongoing discreet investigation to root out those among the traditional leaders aiding bandits in attacking innocent community members.

He issued a stern warning, pledging to dethrone anyone found with connections to bandits.

Addressing the Ward Heads of Ningi Local Government Area, Emir Danyaya emphasized their profiling and the consequences of collaboration with terrorists.

“He vowed not to tolerate such alliances and referenced intelligence reports revealing new bandit strategies aimed at causing chaos in the region, citing the recent killing of a Civil Defence personnel in Gamji Village”.

Expressing frustration, the Emir lamented the collective failure of both traditional and elected officials in eliminating the bandit groups and syndicates that have been terrorizing the Ningi Local Government.

The area has witnessed a surge in kidnappings, instilling fear in peasant farmers, preventing them from working on their farms.
