England in epic FWWC final with Spain after beating Australia 3-1 

 

The Lionesses of England will face Spain in the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup after beating co-host, Australia in semi final on Wednesday afternoon.

England were first to find the back of the net in the 36th minute courtesy, Ella Toone to put her country in the lead.

The game was leveled 27 minutes later after Sam Kerr’s strike sent the ball to the left corner.

England doubled their striking force to take the lead after Lauren Hemp made no mistake drilling low under Arnold to make 2-1 in the 71st minute in Sydney.

England’s victory were sealed 15 minutes later Alessia Russo’s angled cross into the bottom-left corner to make it 31.

England will face Spain on Sunday for the final of the tournament.

Australia and Sweden will do battle for the third place.
