FG approves construction of airstrip at popular church headquarters

The federal government has approved the construction of an airstrip at Canaanland, the headquarters of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, commonly known as Winners Chapel, in Ota, Ogun State.

Bishop David Oyedepo disclosed this development to his congregation during the Tehillah Night Special Edition at Canaanland, Ota.

The airstrip is intended to enhance transportation for worshippers and visitors, particularly during major events such as Shiloh, allowing them to travel directly from the church premises without needing to first reach the airport.

Congregants will now have the convenience of landing and parking their aircraft at Canaanland.

The church’s founder also announced that the project will be privately financed by the church.

While the exact timeline for the construction remains unspecified, church leaders have assured that the project will be executed promptly and in compliance with all necessary aviation standards.
