FG to evacuate Nigerians in Lebanon over impending attack by Israel

The federal government has began preparations to evacuate Nigerians in Lebanon following heightened tensions in the Middle East.

The FG, through the special Assistant to the President on Social media, Olusegun Dada, made this known to Nigerians in diaspora.

It could be recalled that on October 1, Iran fired 180 ballistic missiles at Israel in response to the killings of Iran-backed militant leaders.

Since Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan are in between Iran and Israel, they would no doubt be affected by the attacks.

Taking to his official X.com page, the SA, Olusegun said, “Alert! All Nigerians in Lebanon are expected to get in touch with the Nigerian mission for profiling and documentation and subsequent evacuation.”
