The South American champions, Argentina, on Tuesday lost their opening group game as they were beaten by Saudi Arabia 2-1 at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Today’s victory for Saudi Arabia made them the first Arab country to score against Argentina by up to two goals and winning the game.
Argentina found the back of the net early in the opening ten minutes of the game via a penalty scored by Lionel Messi to make it 1-0.
The Argentine team would have be smiling out of the pitch with four goals against Saudi Arabia but they were denied three goals by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) which those goals were counted as offside.
The Arabians who are nicknamed the Arabian Falcon capitalised on their physical appearance against the Argentines, playing with their strength which paved way for them scoring the equaliser three minutes after the break courtesy, Saleh Alshehri.
Argentina’s frustration continued when Salem Aldawsar scored five minutes after the equaliser to give his country a deserved victory.
