Gaza Blockade: Nigerian journalist, Gimba, other prominent Africans march to Gaza against genocide Friday
For over two months, Gaza has been under complete siege. No food. No clean water. No medicine. Entire families are starving, sick, traumatised or already gone.
Children are dying silently while the world watches. The West Bank and Jerusalem too suffer from raids, home invasions and land grabs.
Neptune Prime CEO/Publisher, Dr Hassan Gimba, an award-winning journalist, media commentator and consultant, is a member of an African delegation matching in this historic act of resistance and unity under the International Solidarity Movement for Afrika and Palestine (ISMAP) which is being led by Barrister Shabnam Palesa Mohamed, an award-winning activist, journalist and lawyer from South Africa.
Other members of the African delegation are Kabiru Hussaini (Nigeria), activist, educator, public servant, and political leader; and Abubakar Gimba (Nigeria), content creator (photography + videography), Agri-Educationist.
ISMAP is mobilising a bold, peaceful Global March to Gaza to stand against this prolonged siege and genocide. Thousands of people from around the world are converging in Egypt on 12 June to walk in solidarity for two days toward Gaza’s border.

They will match and demand an end to the blockade and a future rooted in justice, dignity, and freedom for Palestine.
But we need your help — urgently.
We missed the official registration deadline of June 7 and must now reach Egypt independently by June 12 to join the march.
Time is running out…
What We Need Funds For:
– Visa applications
– Flights to Egypt
– Ground transport (taxis and local travel)
– Accommodation and meals
– Emergency and medical contingencies
This mission is not just about Palestine – it’s about all of us. What is being done to Gaza reflects a global pattern of dehumanisation and impunity.
By supporting this march, you’re standing up not only for Palestinians but for the values we must protect everywhere: justice, life, and human dignity.

Please donate or share this appeal today. Every action counts.
However, if we do not raise the full amount, we will donate the total raised to Afro-Palestinian solidarity activities.
These include:
– Commission of Inquiry on Palestine,
– TRC on Palestine,
– Africa – Palestine Summit.
