Governor Aliyu described the fire as a regrettable and catastrophic incident that threatened to mar the significance of the esteemed building.

Furthermore, Governor Aliyu has approved the formation of a committee to evaluate the damage caused by a separate fire at a mechanic village in the metropolis.

This development comes as the state continues to address fire-related incidents, demonstrating the government’s commitment to restoring historical structures and supporting affected communities.
