Gov Zulum visits victims of Maiduguri-Damboa road bomb blast, orders free medical care

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, paid a visit to victims of the deadly Maiduguri-Damboa Road attack at the State Specialist Hospital in Maiduguri, where they were receiving treatment.

It was reported that attackers using Improvised Explosive Devices ( IEDs) killed eight persons (8) and injured fourteen (14) others.

Zulum during his sympathy visit, assured the victims that state authorities would provide free medical services to all, offering 50,000 cash support to each of victims as immediate support.

The Maiduguri-Damboa Road links Maiduguri to several local government areas in Southern Borno and has been a hotspot for Boko Haram terrorists for over a decade.
