Gunmen kidnap former Abia Chief Judge, Nnenna Oti
Former Chief Judge of Abia State and Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of Ohaji/Egbema in Imo State, Justice Nnenna Oti has been abducted.

Gunmen kidnap Justice Oti on Saturday at Orlu in Imo State on her way to Anambra State.

Oti who is a former Chief Judge in Abia State is also the Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of Ohaji/Egbema in Imo State.

The Bishop of Ohaji/Egbema Anglican Diocese, Rt. Revd Chidi Collins Oparaojiaku, made this known when he canvassed prayers in all churches of the Diocese for the safe release of their Chancellor, Justice Nnenna Oti.

The Bishop shortly said: “This is a sad mood for us, what we are expected to do at this time is to continue in our prayers for God Almighty to touch the minds Of the kidnappers to release her.”

However, the State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mike Abattam, said he should be given time to get the details on the kidnapped incident.

While speaking to the congregation of worshippers, Bishop Oparaojiaku Said that her captors have already made contact with Justice Oti’s family. He however called for fervent prayers that will ensure her safekeeping without molestation and violence.
