Tinubu officially decorates Disu as Nigeria’s 23rd police chief

Tinubu officially decorates Disu as Nigeria’s 23rd police chief President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday formally decorated the newly appointed Acting Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, with his new rank at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The decoration ceremony, which formed part of the swearing-in proceedings, was attended by senior government officials as well as family members of the new acting police chief. With the formal investiture, Disu assumes office as Nigeria’s 23rd Inspector-General of Police.
