Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped the spokesperson of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Edo State, Bridget Esene.
Mrs Esene was whisked away by the assailants on Sunday morning at the premises of an undisclosed Christian worship centre in the Agbor road area of Benin city, an official said.
She was reportedly trailed and yanked off her car by her captors, who scurried into a waiting vehicle with their victim.
