Hilda Baci’s massive fan support crashed Guinness World Records website – Official
Guinness World Records has revealed that Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, caused their website to crash for two days during her cook-a-thon.
In an official statement on Tuesday, a representative from the record body disclosed that Hilda has been certified as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
The representative explained that their website crashed due to the overwhelming volume of traffic generated by Hilda’s legion of loyal fans.

“Hilda’s cook-a-thon was so popular that our website crashed for two days because of the enormous amount of traffic we received from her devoted fans,” the representative stated.
Previously, it was reported that Hilda’s 100-hour kitchen stint was not fully certified by Guinness World Records. They acknowledged only 93 hours and 11 minutes as her official record.
The record body deducted seven hours from her record, citing that she mistakenly took extra minutes during one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt.
