Hollywood, Nollywood stars witness the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere in Lagos (Photos/Videos)

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was celebrated on Sunday at the first official African premiere at Filmhouse Cinemas IMAX Lekki in Lagos, Nigeria.

The theme of the event which was Afro-Futuristic is a cultural aesthetic that combines science-fiction, history and fantasy to explore the African-American experience and aims to connect those from the black diaspora with their forgotten African ancestry.

Director Ryan Coogler, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, and Tenoch Huerta Mejía attended the event.

Nigerian celebrities like Richard Mofe Damijo, Nengi, Priscilla Ojo, Adunni Ade, Ini Edo, and others also graced the event.
