According to the official account of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), officials of the agency disclosed that Kyari and Ubua shared the money as Kyari got N1.6 billion whereas Ubua who carried out the deal received N2.7 billion.

The report revealed that Ubua invested largely in shares after receiving the money. On the other hand, Kyari invested his own money in real estates in choice parts of the country with Lekki (Lagos), Maitama and Wuse areas of Abuja topping the list.

Officials of the NDLEA are still following up on the case of Kyari and his accomplices even as they are kept in prison from where they attend court hearing.
