How NDIC staff’s car got stolen in Kaduna

Mrs Amina Amani, a staff of the National Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) had her car stolen in Kaduna yesterday at the premises of Sidi and Sons, Ahmadu Bello Way.

Mrs Amani went into the premises of Sidi and Sons with her car and parked in one of the empty spaces of the main gate, which was being manned by several securities belonging to Sidi and Sons.

According to CCTV footage obtained by our correspondent, the thief, a man of average height, dark and fat came into Sidi and Sons with a friend. They went into the shopping complex pretending to shop.

Later, one of them came out with keys in his hands, went straight to Mrs Amani’s car, opened it with one of the keys and drove off. Even the security men at the gate were unable to stop him.

The management of Sidi and Sons have reported the matter to Kaduna Police Command, and at the time of filing this report, they were busy analyzing the CCTV footage for a possible lead to arrest the culprit.
