How one man kicked out battalion of soldiers from their barracks (Video)
Story by Hamzat IBRAHIM, Minna
In the heart of Agaie town, Niger State, an old Army barracks stands deserted, its walls weathered by time and silence.
Once a post for Nigerian soldiers during the era when Lagos served as the nation’s military headquarters, the barracks today symbolise a strange and fearful tale—how a company of armed men fled a community after series of unexplained deaths.
According to a video clip obtained by Neptune Prime, the events began years ago when soldiers were posted to the barracks to maintain order in the ancient Nupe town. But what followed was far from normal military activity.
The troops, once seen patrolling the streets, began fleeing in panic, unable to explain the deaths that seemed to follow them.
A narrator of the video revealed, “There was only one man who scattered the army barracks and made all the soldiers to run away.”

“At that time, soldiers residing in the barracks weren’t very kind to the villagers, as there were complaints of infringement on the rights of people within the community.
“There was a man in the community who went to the head of the village and told the village head that he wanted to deal with the soldiers and the village head gave him the go ahead.”
The narrator of the video said the man was from the Nupe tribe.
After receiving permission from the village head, soldiers bagan dying mysteriously in the barracks,
He said in a day, five or more soldiers will die under strange circumstances.
“After the strange deaths, one man in the community secretly advised the military men to leave the barracks else they will all die.
All along while the strange events were unfolding, the commander of the barracks was in Lagos for a meeting.
He was informed of what has been happening in the barracks but the commander immediately told the soldiers to gather his family and bring them to Lagos, afterwards, the soldiers started leaving the barracks one by one till it was completely abandoned and empty.
Since then, the once-active military post has remained untouched, and locals still whisper about the Nupe man who made even soldiers fear for their lives.
The identity of the said man is unknown till date.

So this story is true? I just didn’t believe it at first when I watched the video. Do you think we still have those kinds of people in that place? Can’t we employ their services to tackle these issues of insecurity in our communities? I suggest that the traditional title holders should look and search around for those privileged and blessed people
A very good suggestion.
