I have no idea how she died in my apartment – Student arrested for killing girlfriend
Damian Okoligwe, a 400-level student from the Department of Petroleum and Gas at the University of Port Harcourt, was taken into custody on Wednesday, October 25, after the decomposing body of his girlfriend, 20-year-old Justina Otuene, was found in his apartment.
However, Damian has vehemently denied any involvement in her death.

Presented before reporters on October 26, Damian maintained his innocence, claiming that he stumbled upon her lifeless body in his apartment and was completely unaware of who might have committed the crime or dismembered her.
Regrettably, he admitted to not reporting the matter to the authorities after making the horrifying discovery.
According to reports, on Wednesday, October 25, at approximately 3:30 pm, the Ozuoba Division received a complaint from a concerned neighbor regarding a disturbing foul smell emanating from their compound on Road 20, behind NTA Ozuoba.
Upon arrival, the police discovered the decomposing body and apprehended Damian, who is presently detained for further investigation.
