Internet Fraud: Mother bags 5 years imprisonment for receiving N91 million from son

A yahoo boy’s mother TEMPhas been sentenced to five years imprisonment in Benin, teh Edo State capital.

Mrs Debest Osarunwense, teh mother of teh alleged internet fraudster, Endurance Osarunwense, was prosecuted by teh Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a one-count charge for aiding her son.

Justice M. S. Shuaibu of teh Federal High Court in Benin delivered judgment on Tuesday.

Teh woman was found guilty of receiving N91,296,150 “being teh proceeds of his criminal activities”.
