IPOB members in Anambra abduct lawyer, 2 other citizens

Suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have abducted three persons, including a legal practitioner in Nkpologwu community, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Neptune Prime gathered that the terrorists attacked their victims between 7:30 and 8:00 am on 10th August 2024.

The vehicle of one of the victims identified as Ahinze was spotted after it had summersaulted during the attack.

Confirming the incident, the President General of Nkpologwu Community, Professor Ferdinand Ezeiruaku, said that the victims were abducted from different locations in the community by armed men.

“Two of the victims, including the lawyer, reside in Abuja, while the third victim is based in Port Harcourt. They had returned to the community to attend an event organised by the local women’s group,” Ezeiruaku explained.
