Iranian Ambassador to Nigeria speaks on U.S.-Israeli roles in recent riots (Video)
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Abuja revealed the negative roles played by the United States and Israel in the deadly riots they fuelled recently in Iran, noting that no country in the world would tolerate such foreign interference.

The move by Iran’s embassy in Abuja is part of an effort to inform the people of West Africa about the true events that took place, events that are completely different from what Western media are reporting.

Many Nigerian print and broadcast journalists attended the press conference held at the embassy.
After outlining the number of martyrs in the deadly riots across several Iranian cities, the Iranian ambassador Gholamreza Mahdavi Raja, said:
. 305 ambulances and buses were destroyed or burned
* 24 gas stations set on fire
* 700 shops belonging to ordinary citizens were destroyed
* 3,000 private residences burned or damaged
* 750 banks were attacked and set on fire nationwide
* 414 government buildings destroyed or burned
* 749 police vehicles torched
* 120 Basij bases were attacked and burned
* 200 schools destroyed or burned
* 350 mosques and thousands of Qur’an copies were burned
* Dozens of libraries were destroyed
* 89 seminaries were attacked and burned
* 253 bus stations destroyed
* 700 ATMs vandalised or desecrated
* 800 private vehicles destroyed or desecrated
On January 8-9, terrorist armed elements supported by the U.S. and Israel launched a terrorist operation in several cities in Iran, setting public property and killing security defenders and civilians.

They attempted to raise casualties and pave the way for a U.S. attack on Iran.
According to Iranian officials, this terrorist operation led to 3,117 fatalities, of whom 2,427 are martyrs.
