Jealous husband stabs wife to death over alleged infidelity

A 34-year-old man identified as Dare Onipede has allegedly stabbed his wife, 32-year-old Arinola, following allegations of infidelity in Ekiti State.
DSP Sunday Abutu, the Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Police Command, confirmed the incident, which was reported by the couple’s children on Saturday, April 27.
He said the distressing incident happened over the weekend at Christ Avenue in the Adebayo area of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
According to a resident in the vicinity, the couple had dispatched their eldest child on an errand before engaging in a heated argument within the confines of their apartment.

Reports revealed that the altercation escalated as both parties resorted to the use of sharp objects, resulting in severe injuries.
Dare Onipede, purportedly a law enforcement agent, and his wife, who worked in a chemist shop, sustained wounds during the confrontation.
