In a heartwarming gesture on Friday, the Joda Foundation for Education Support (JFES) delivered essential books to the Hafsatu Gimba Ahmed Memorial School in Potiskum, Yobe State. This significant contribution aims to enhance educational resources in the region.

School Coordinator Malam Ba’aba Ahmed Gimba warmly welcomed the JFES team, expressing deep gratitude for their support. “We are truly grateful to the JFES Foundation for their generosity in choosing our school. This is the first time we’ve received such a donation since our school opened, and it will make a remarkable difference for our students,” he remarked.

Dr. Abdullahi Mamuda, another speaker at the event, applauded JFES for their efforts, emphasizing that their work extends beyond academics to include vocational training opportunities, thereby providing students with a holistic education.

Malam Hassan Bomoi Joda, Chairman of JFES, shared his motivation for selecting this particular school. “The high number of out-of-school children in this area inspired us to establish the foundation. In the past six months, we’ve enrolled 16 children and continue to distribute resources to schools like this one. This school, with its unique curriculum combining academics and vocational skills, aligns perfectly with our mission,” he explained.

School Headmaster Malam Muhammad Ibrahim Jaji echoed his appreciation, stating that the foundation’s support motivates students to stay committed to their education.

The event concluded with photographs, capturing a day that will be remembered by both the students and the foundation for its positive impact on the community.
