KACRAN hails Sultan of Sokoto for 10 years of unity, peace

As Nigeria prepares for the holy month of Ramadan, the Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has commended the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, CFR, for his unwavering commitment to fostering peace and unity across the nation.

In a statement issued by its National President, Hon. Khalil Moh’d Bello, KACRAN praised the Sultan’s leadership, particularly as he marks a decade on the throne of the Sokoto Sultanate, a revered institution in West Africa.

Highlighting the Sultan’s key contributions, the association noted his instrumental role in reuniting Nigerian Muslims, bringing an end to years of discord that had led to inconsistencies in Ramadan and Eid celebrations. His efforts have helped to establish a more unified approach to Islamic observances in the country.

KACRAN also lauded his role in revitalizing Jama’atu Nasrul Islam, reinforcing its position as a leading Islamic organisation in Nigeria and beyond.

Furthermore, the Sultan’s dedication to fostering harmony between northern and southern Nigeria was recognised as a significant stride towards national unity.

Describing him as a leader of integrity, the association commended his principled stance on peace, fairness, and justice for all Nigerians, irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political affiliations. The association also praised his openness to constructive advice aimed at enhancing peace and stability across the country.

KACRAN urged traditional rulers and political leaders to follow the Sultan’s example in promoting unity and understanding among Nigerians. The group also extended heartfelt congratulations to him on his decade of remarkable service, offering prayers for his continued success in the years ahead.
