Kidnapped Methodist Prelate, Samuel Kanu, 2 others regain freedom

The Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Samuel Kanu Uche, has reportedly regained freedom.

According to a reliable source, the Prelate, who was kidnapped on Sunday, alongside Dennis Mark, the Methodist Bishop of Owerri and the Prelate’s Chaplain, has been freed by their abductors Monday evening.

The source, however, did not state if any ransom was paid before the cleric and others were freed.

The Prelate was kidnapped along Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.
