Kurmin Wali Abduction: Escaped mother laments death of newborn as husband, five children remain in captivity
A woman who escaped from captivity following the recent abduction in Kurmin Wali has narrated her ordeal, revealing that she lost her two-week-old baby while in the hands of her abductors, as her husband and five children remain in captivity.
The survivor said the family was kidnapped when gunmen attacked their community, forcing residents to flee before several people were taken away. According to her, the abductors subjected them to harsh conditions in the forest, where access to food, water and medical care was severely limited.

She disclosed that her newborn baby died during captivity due to the difficult conditions and lack of medical attention. The woman said she later managed to escape during a moment of confusion but was forced to leave behind her husband and five children.
Her account has sparked renewed concern over rising cases of kidnapping in the area, with residents calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue those still being held and to restore safety to the community.

Local authorities have confirmed the abduction and said security operations are ongoing to secure the release of the remaining captives. They urged the public to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies as efforts continue to track down the perpetrators.
