In a threading tweet on Twitter, a Nigerian lady narrated how her cousin, Abiodun, died in a hospital because of a police report after he was stabbed.

The lady said her cousin, who is a DJ, was on his way to the studio at Ikorodu axis of Lagos state on Monday when he was stabbed and was taken to the hospital by a good samaritan who found him.

She further explains that he was refused medical care that would have saved his life, all because they needed a police report before he was attended to.

“Apparently, my cousin got stabbed on his way to the studio at Ikorodu around 7 am yesterday. Good Samaritans took him to the hospital but as usual, Nigeria healthcare had their way with him, he died because they wouldn’t treat him. Thank you, Nigeria. Rip Abiodun, he was 27 years,” she wrote.
