In continuance of its state-wide free medical outreach, the medical team of the Madakin Gudi Foundation was in Machina town of Machina Local Government Area in Yobe where they offered free treatments to over 310 vulnerable persons.
Addressing a large crowd of people from the community, the coordinator of the project, Malam Hassan Kaku, said the exercise is part of the foundation’s gesture, aimed at complementing the efforts of the present administration in the state.
He pointed out that the outreach is to ensure healthcare services are taken to the doorsteps of the people, especially those who cannot afford medical bills.
Kaku noted that ” Yobe State got an international recognition due to the commitment of Governor Mai Mala Buni to ensure effective healthcare is provided to the people at the grassroots, hence the need for citizens of the state, specifically the well-to-do individuals to support these efforts,” Kaku said.
