Tinubu seeks end to tanker accidents, mourns Enugu victims

President Bola Tinubu has offered his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Enugu State, following the tragic fuel tanker explosion that occurred on Saturday, resulting in the loss of precious lives.

He also directed traffic control agencies to enforce extra measures to prevent recurring fuel tanker explosions.

Tinubu conveyed his condolences in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, titled ‘President Tinubu mourns victims of fuel tanker explosion, condoles with Enugu state government.’

The fuel tanker reportedly spiralled out of control and burst into flames while navigating the Ugwu-Onyeama section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway on Saturday.
