    With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Professor Musa Abdu Auyo who died Tuesday 27th August, 2024. A scholar of extraordinary calibre and a man of profound kindness and humility. His passing leaves a void that words can
    scarcely fill, but his legacy of knowledge, integrity, and compassion will
    forever remain with us.

    For over three decades of my knowing him, Professor Auyo dedicated his life
    to academia, tirelessly imparting wisdom and fostering a love for learning in
    all who had the privilege to cross his path.

    His gentle spirit and unwavering
    commitment to the betterment of others were hallmarks of his character, making him not just a professor, but a true mentor, a guardian, and a friend.

    Professor Auyo lived a life rooted in humility, always placing the needs of others before his own. His responsible and gracious nature endeared him to everyone who knew him. He was a man who listened deeply, spoke thoughtfully, and acted with kindness and integrity. His presence brought calm and reassurance, and his absence is deeply felt by all.

    As we remember the many ways in which he touched our lives, we take
    comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. Though he is no longer with us,
    his spirit continues to inspire, and his teachings will live on in the countless
    lives he influenced, including our humble self.

    Your legacy is one of light and love, and it will continue to shine brightly in
    our hearts.

    May you live in perfect peace and May Jannatul Firdaus be your final abode,
    Professor Auyo. AMEEN.
