Men of 401 Special Task Force Brigade have destroyed ISWAP Caliphate in Borno

Men of 401 Special Task Force Brigade in conjunction with 19 Brigade, Baga, yesterday and this morning attacked the base of Boko Haram/ISWAP in Gudumbali and destroyed camps of the two fighters forces destroying vehicles and killing some of the insurgents.
The Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters were attached by the Nigerian Forces between Kukawa and Gudumbali and neutralize their purported caliphate where they have built their base for a very long time.
Additionally, in the early hours of today troops of 25 task force brigade Damboa Borno State also successfully destroyed and burned the identified Boko Haram/ISWAP night market at Gumsuri, according to defence headquarters, Abuja.

For almost eleven years people of Borno State have been subjected to rape, kidnapping, killings and destruction of properties running into millions of naira. All efforts by Nigerian Security Agencies to eliminate the terrorist is proving to be difficult, even after the death of their leader Abubakar Shekau and that of ISWAP.
At the time of filing this report, reliable report coming from Borno State has it that the terrorists are gaining powers. In fact, even the state Governor, Babagana Zulum, has admitted that 2 local governments in the state are under the control of the terrorists.
