A Non Governmental Organization, Smile Mission Health Care has launched a Pharmacy Outpost along Marazine Hotel Bama Road, Maiduguri.
According to Doctor Saleh Abba, medication would be offered free of charge to the community.
“Our focus is help our internally displaced persons in our camps and host community, hence we decided to open the pharmacy outpost to reach larger number of the needy in this direction”.
Dr Abba observed that it’s very difficult for the less privileged to get access to medicines so the decision to open the pharmacy in a very busy area will help them a lot.
He explained that the intervention will last for two months subject to review.
Recently, the United Nations said at least 3.7 million people in the troubled North East are in need of medical support.
