Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has become Nigeria’s ‘latest lawyer’ on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, when he was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
The 58-year-old actor announced this on social media with photos of him wearing lawyers wig and gown.
Who is Kanayo O. Kanayo?
Kanayo whose real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere is an Imo State-born actor that started his career in the 1992 movie ‘Living in Bondage’ and he has starred in over 100 movies since then.
Kanayo O. Kanayo enrolled in the University of Abuja in 2015 to study law. He graduated in 2018 and went to Nigerian Law School in Abuja.
Kanayo who said his longtime dream has always been to study law said he is grateful that his dream is now a reality.
One of his most recent movie is ‘Up North’ where he featured with singer Banky W and actress Adesuwa Etomi. He also featured in the continuation of the blockbuster movie, ‘Living in Bondage: Breaking Free’.
