Obi clears all 17 LGAs of Enugu as Tinubu wins Jigawa with 421,390 votes

Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has won all 17 Local Government Areas of Enugu State with 428,640 votes.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, followed closely with 15,747 votes, APC scored 4,772 while APGA scored 1,548 and NNPP scored 1,808 votes.

The Enugu State Collation Officer, Professor Ofo Iweh, who announced the results, said the total number of votes cast was 468,8891 while the total valid votes were 456,424

According to Professor Iweh, 12,467 were rejected.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has been declared the winner of the 2023 general election in Jigawa State.

Announcing the results, the collation officer for the 2023 presidential election in Jigawa State, Professor Arma-Ya’u Hamisu Bichi, said the APC scored 421,390 to defeat Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), who polled 1,889, NNPP 98,234 while PDP scored 386,587 votes.

The total number of registered voters was 2,341,441, the total votes accredited were 961,670 and the total votes cast were 954,805.
