The police in Ondo State has arrested a woman, Titilayo Kudaisi, for selling her one-year-old baby.
The state Commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami, while parading the suspect and others at the state police headquarters, said Titilayo sold the baby for a sum of N300,000.
Titilayo said she was lured to sell the baby by a friend for N300,000 on grounds of lack of funds.
The woman who did not show any sign of remorse, however, blamed the devil for her action.
Police public relations officer, ASP Tee Leo Ikoro, informed that the police were conducting an investigation on other culprits involved in selling the baby.
