A 40-year old truck driver working with a construction company in Potiskum town of Yobe State has impregnated his brother’s 15-year old daughter, a primary 5 pupil.
According to the victim’s family, the suspect simply identified as Ari, has been staying in his brother’s house in Potiskum town anytime he is on duty because his family house is in Damaturu and that gave him the advantage of luring the teenage girl to his room where he allegedly had carnal knowledge of her severally.
The teenager had kept her sexual affair with her uncle secret until when her mother noticed signs of pregnancy from her before she disclosed that her father’s biological brother is responsible for her 4-month old pregnancy.
The incident which happened at uganda area of Potiskum town has left the family members of the victim devastated and are calling for the arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
